Prayers for Minneapolis

All of us here on the base would like to offer up our prayers and condolences to the family and friends of those in the Minneapolis and St. Paul area who lost family/friends/loved ones in the I-35W bridge disaster.

It is comforting to know, that in the Heartland of America, a stranger would go out of their way and even endanger their own life to save that of another human being. While we recognize that this also happened at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001, it was repeated over and over in the reports already coming out of the Minneapolis area.

One thing that all of us can do, and that has been called for by medical personnel of the Twin Cities area, is to donate blood at your local Red Cross blood donation center.

If nothing else, take a few minutes and say a prayer for all those affected by or involved with this disaster.
